Articles and blogs to help us with "what to stop"

by Helen Bevan | 5 months ago | in What to stop

There are multiple frameworks on what to start, stop and amplify that have been published as part of the Covid-19 response or papers that had been published previously and have been used for thinking about what we do differently beyond the Covid-19 response. I thought it would be helpful to set out some of these papers in the “What to stop” section.

  1. Taking a systems perspective on learning from the response to Covid-19 : https://medium.com/school-of-system-change/covid-19-and-systems-change-some-reflections-from-the-field-3aab2849f6af
  2. How to build bridges to the future (end/let go/amplify/start) by Mathew Taylor, RSA: https://www.thersa.org/discover/publications-and-articles/rsa-blogs/2020/04/change-covid19-response
  3. Don’t just think about learning from Covid-19; think about creating the conditions for learning: https://www.easierinc.com/blog/please-stop-capturing-crisis-lessons/#.XsUPy4MEqdI.twitter
  4. Mckinsey on what to start, stop and amplify: https://www.mckinsey.com/featured-insights/leadership/from-thinking-about-the-next-normal-to-making-it-work-what-to-stop-start-and-accelerate?cid=other-eml-alt-mip-mck&hlkid=99367886c5d04ea384b445964e9398bc&hctky=10363564&hdpid=cb0aeebb-630d-4454-aae5-62284e2e677c#
  5. Flatten, fight and future by BCG: https://media-publications.bcg.com/BCG-COVID-19-BCG-Perspectives-Version5.pdf?utm_medium=Email&utm_source=esp&utm_campaign=covid-
  6. Covid-19, quality improvement and Safety II: https://q.health.org.uk/blog-post/covid-19-safety-ii-in-action-zoom-outcomes/

Should this be stopped or restarted in a different way? If you think it should be restarted in a different way then how would you change it from before?
