Online groups/classes

The MSK team at St George's have moved their popular group based classes/programmes to youtube. These include

The next stage is to launch these as live groups via Attend Anywhere. 

What is needed to sustain the change?  

The youtube videos are locked in, but to create more we will need resources - time and kit.

To get the classes/groups to a live platform we need Attend Anywhere to be robust enough to cope with 6+ participants. Currently it doesn't support this.

Really like this as long as long as there is a hybrid between in person classes and online live classes for those that may not be able to access technology to prevent healthcare inequality

completey agree Uzo. The online delivery is very much a COVID response but something that can be potentially offered as an alternative to face to face for those are able to and keen to do so. We don’t know if virtual groups work yet. We have 50 years of data on face to face rehab groups so I think it will be some time before we have the evidence base to offer ‘virtual first’ for groups post-COVID anyway.
