Remote meetings and CPD

by Michelle Angus | 6 months ago | in Spinal Conditions
Horizon 2

Our MDTs and RSN meetings have moved to MS teams and are likely to remain virtual for some time.  This has allowed a far greater attendance and therefore opportunity for discussion and learning.

What is needed to sustain the change?

Ongoing digital support.

More trust laptops and webcams required.

What is your region?

North West

Sounds like a great idea Michelle ,
was there any resistance by your colleagues or was it easy to implement?

It was the surgeon's idea, no issues at all imaging shared on the screen by the neuro radiologists. I think this will stay with us long term especially when working accross sites. We are going to set up the same model for the CATS case discussion too. People even seem to dial in when on leave.

We have been very similar Michelle with spinal MDT going virtual through Microsoft MSK Teams And is likely to continue for some time. The equipment is a challenge as like you we need more .
This has highlighted and speeded up the delivery of acquiring the IT required .
