Microsoft Teams -Exploring, engaging team towards use of digital platform for communication and collaboration, planning, cross system working and video conferencing
Testing phase currently in how to integrate across physiotherapy, advanced practice services, FCP, rheumatology, imaging and pain services virtually going forwards
Anecdotal feedback currently as in progress of software/hardware and training challenges but increasing uptake of testers use and connection via the platform
Expectation that virtual supervision, mentorship, work place-based learning, team meetings, collaborative project work, cross integrated care system work could all be facilitated virtually going forwards.... yet to be proven but exciting progress so far
What is needed to sustain the change?
Teams champions, testers from those tech savvy to those tech adverse, technology based training, ongoing access to Microsoft teams after the free period is over, engagement and desire to use, hosting virtual meetings/supervision/training best practice, PDSA cycle

we recently had a Teams meeting with AHP NHSScot who have fast tracked use of this platform across Scotland during Covid and we are following them closely

We are using teams to hold regular meetings/peer review cases. Excellent use of technology with reduced time needed as no travelling.

Hi Jessica. We are currently looking at how Teams may fit in with our services also. Finding a bit of reluctance to try it so any positive aspects you can share from your experiences would be really useful!
