Developing a pan Sussex network to deliver consistency of delivery and a model of care for FCP across the geography

This was started prior to COVID_19 but is now gathering pace with the emphasis to provide a workforce that will support and enable primary care to deliver on MSK conditions using FCPs who will deliver equitable service across this geography.  Great connection between services and drawing on skills of the wider system

Thanks for posting Laura. Can you add any more detail regarding how you have set this up? What sort of training is required and how are you measuring the impact?

Hi Sasha
we brought together FCP leads across the geography and developed a common model of delivery which has been shared across PCN's
we have identified the core training needs in line with the FCP capability framework and devised an individual training plan based on their needs and level of expertise.
clinicians will need to demonstrate their competency through written evidence at level 7
