Local and regional education moved to online
Not completely novel to the COVID era, but the use of ZOOM / MS teams and other web platforms has allowed us to continue to deliver high quality teaching and training during an era where operating experience has dropped. Furthermore, even things like journal club, which historically have run Face to Face have now been delivered remotely. It is a great way to keep current and up to date within a department, and something along the lines of monthly revalidation / education seminars within a unit could be recommended, with remote delivery meaning access for all becomes much easier.

We are doing this for our in house teaching. Attendance has been much better than our usual face to face lunchtime meeting. Our unit works across two sites and commitments often span lunchtime.
